The role involves coordinating field programs, data analysis, and report writing related to hydrometric monitoring and aquatic studies. Candidates should have a BSc and 2-3 years of experience in field program management, particularly in remote locations. Strong data management and communication skills are essential. The position offers a Northern Allowance and emphasizes safety and collaboration in a diverse work environment.
The successful candidate will be competent with data collection and management and have experience with any of the following skillsets: hydrometric monitoring, aquatic studies and/or monitoring programs in streams, rivers, and lakes involving water quality and quantity, sediment quality, and biotic communities. The scientist/engineer will carry out data analysis, database management, and report writing.
