Technical Writer - Remote

We seek a highly-skilled, talented, detail-oriented Arabic/English Technical Writer to join our team. This role is pivotal in crafting and translating technical content for our software products and tender proposals. The ideal candidate should be a native Arabic speaker fluent in English and capable of translating technical terms accurately between both languages. Additionally, the candidate should understand market trends and terminology within the technology and software industry and can communicate complex technical concepts in clear and concise Arabic related to data, AI, and Machine Learning domains.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and maintain comprehensive Arabic manuals for our products, including User Manuals, System Admin Manuals, Installation Guides, and scripts for online materials.
2. Translate and adapt the English manuals from English to Arabic.
3. Write, develop, and translate content for technical tender proposals in Arabic, ensuring accuracy, consistency, clarity, and compliance with requirements.
4. Stay updated on industry trends, market demands, and technological advancements relevant to the business domains we are working in.
5. Work closely with technical teams, project managers, and subject matter experts to gather necessary information and ensure alignment with proposal requirements.
6. Review and edit tender, product, and project proposals to ensure coherence, completeness, and adherence to guidelines before submission.
7. Maintain organized documentation of proposal materials, translations, and relevant resources.
8. Effectively communicate with internal stakeholders to clarify requirements and address any queries or concerns related to product and tender proposals.

Qualifications:

1. Native Arabic speaker with fluency in English.
2. Excellent writing and editing skills in both Arabic and English.
3. Graduate preferably with a degree in Computer Science or any equivalent technical major with proven experience as a technical writer, preferably in the technology sector.
4. Strong knowledge of technical terminology and concepts related to software applications, with the ability to translate accurately between languages.
5. Should be able to effectively grasp concepts conveyed by English-speaking team members and discuss approaches to content creation.
6. Openness to receiving feedback and making necessary revisions to improve the quality of the translated content.
7. Proven experience creating and maintaining technical documents, manuals, and guides.
8. Familiar with tender proposal processes and requirements.
9. Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio).
10. Detail-oriented with solid research and analytical skills.
11. Able to work efficiently under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
12. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
