BC Based Healthcare Change Management and Comms Professional to Assist with Procura Replacement Project - SOW20241223CP

S.i. Systems enterprise public health client is seeking a BC Based Healthcare Change Management and Comms professional to assist with Procura replacement project - SOW20241223CP. They are transitioning 3 Communities of Care areas from their existing Procura Desktop & Procura Mobile applications to the replacement AlayaCare core and premium products.

Location: REMOTE - must be based in BC and work PST hours

Contract Duration: Feb - Aug 25, 2025 contract + extensions

Pay Rate: MAX Pay rate is $90 / hour + GST as an incorporated consultant

MUST HAVE SKILLS

  • 4+ years of experience with large complex clinical IT projects
  • 1 year as Senior Change Lead working with clinicians
  • Primary care project experience, working with clinicians
  • Working knowledge of clinical systems, care delivery processes, clinical roles, clinical policies, clinical standards within Canada.
  • Demonstrable experience developing and implementing clinical and business change management strategies and communications plans.

NICE TO HAVE SKILLS

  • Bachelor or Diploma in Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Valid (unexpired) Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) certification.

JOB DUTIES:

The Senior Change & Communications Lead is a key member of the project team working to ensure the project is delivered on time, on budget, and meeting the required quality levels. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  1. Apply a structured methodology and lead change management activities.
  2. Leverage a change management methodology, process, and tools to create a strategy to support adoption of the changes required by the project.
  3. Assess the change impact.
  4. Conduct impact analyses, assess change readiness, and identify key stakeholders.
  5. Work with Project Leadership and all relevant partner teams to identify, analyze and prepare risk mitigation tactics.
  6. Identify and manage anticipated and persistent resistance.
  7. Develop an engagement strategy, plan and schedule to support user readiness training and deployment activities.
  8. Liaise with Communications, Business & Clinical Working Groups, governance and site sponsors to design, develop, deliver and manage key communications.
  9. Support the communication efforts.
  10. Provide input, document requirements, and support the design and delivery of user readiness training programs.
  11. Support user readiness training efforts.
  12. Support other Quality Assurance/testing analysts.
  13. Draft reports, briefing notes, and other supporting documentation for senior management and governance working groups.
  14. Lead, inform and develop use cases as well as design, develop and implement new processes, systems, and enhancements.
  15. Oversee and complete business/clinical/technical analysis and process re-engineering activities as well as identifying gaps, risks, and opportunities.
  16. Facilitate meetings (inclusive of agenda, minutes, and other meeting materials).
  17. Produce presentations, status reports, and other related administrative tasks.
  18. Other duties as assigned.
  19. Ensure project activities adhere to organizational standards, policies, and expectations.

Core Deliverables: Include, but are not limited to:

  1. A documented transition plan for change and communications framework (including all supportive written materials).
  2. Communications and Change Management plans/strategy as required.
  3. Project partner analysis and engagement plan.
  4. Communication and engagement toolkits.
  5. Documentation processes, workflows, policies, and procedures.
