Our client is seeking a Project Coordinator to support the planning, coordination, and execution of a Data Center Modernization project. This is a remote position, requiring work during Mountain Time business hours, and offers a possibility of extension.
Must Haves:
- 5+ years of experience as a Project Coordinator or in a similar role, preferably within an IT environment.
- Familiarity with data center infrastructure and migration processes.
- Basic understanding of software testing methodologies.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira).
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Experience coordinating testing activities and documenting results.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills (written and verbal).
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively under pressure.
Nice to Haves:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Previous experience supporting medium-sized teams (5–15 members).
- Familiarity with IT procurement processes.
- Experience with remote collaboration tools such as Teams or Slack.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Project Manager in developing and maintaining project plans, schedules, and timelines.
- Track and manage project tasks, milestones, and deliverables.
-Coordinate meetings, including scheduling, agenda preparation, and minute-taking.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration among project team members, stakeholders, and vendors.
- Identify and escalate potential risks and issues proactively.
- Maintain project documentation and ensure adherence to project methodologies.
- Assist in the development and execution of test plans for migrated systems and applications.
- Coordinate testing resources and schedules.
- Document test results and report issues or defects.
- Collaborate with technical teams to resolve testing issues.
- Manage project-related procurement requests and track orders.
- Assist with budget tracking and reporting.
- Prepare presentations and reports for project stakeholders.
- Perform other administrative duties as assigned.
