Operation Engineer/Manager

Our client is a key player in a consortium dedicated to delivering the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's ambitious National Renewable Energy Program. This initiative aims to achieve a total renewable energy capacity of 11.4 GW once fully operational.

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Project Engineer/Manager to lead and coordinate complex engineering projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record in managing cross-disciplinary teams. This role requires the ability to oversee project planning, execution, and delivery while ensuring quality, cost efficiency, and adherence to timelines.

1. Project Planning & Initiation:
   1. Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
   2. Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets.
2. Execution & Monitoring:
   1. Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to execute project plans effectively.
   2. Monitor progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
   3. Ensure compliance with relevant standards, regulations, and company policies.
3. Technical Oversight:
   1. Provide engineering expertise to resolve technical challenges during project execution.
   2. Review and approve design specifications, drawings, and documentation.
4. Resource Management:
   1. Allocate resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to meet project requirements.
   2. Manage procurement and subcontractor activities to ensure timely delivery of services and materials.
5. Quality Assurance:
   1. Implement quality control measures to ensure projects meet specifications and standards.
   2. Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety and quality protocols.
6. Communication & Reporting:
   1. Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and team members.
   2. Prepare and present project status reports, including financial updates and performance metrics.
7. Completion & Handover:
   1. Ensure successful project handover by delivering all required documentation and final reports.
   2. Conduct post-project evaluations to identify lessons learned and opportunities for improvement.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (e.g., Civil, Mechanical, Electrical) or a related field.
• Master’s degree or certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) are a plus.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management within the engineering space.
• Proven ability to manage large-scale, multidisciplinary engineering projects.
• Strong understanding of engineering principles, construction methods, and project management best practices.
• Familiarity with applicable international standards and regulations.
