Applications are invited for a dynamic, energetic, and experienced teacher, who meets the below listed prerequisites.

• Appropriate university degree or professional qualification;
• At least 4 years teaching experience in Maths in Grades 6 and 7;
• Current Registration with SACE and Police Clearance;
• Computer literacy and ability to integrate IT suitably in teaching/learning;
• A dynamic, creative personality with strong interpersonal skills;
• A commitment to full participation in the extra-curricular activities of the school;
• Current teaching experience in an ISASA school;
• Must have the ability to identify with the values and ethos of SAHETI school.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare for, teach and assess beyond the requirements of the CAP’s Document and Requirements;
• Create a classroom atmosphere conducive to healthy, connective and where possible cutting-edge teaching and learning;
• Set, mark and evaluate class work, homework, assessments, examinations and provide regular and meaningful feedback to students/staff/parents;
• Moderate formal assessments, and generate project-based activities;
• Monitor and support the pastoral care of pupils;
• Engage and participate in the reflection and staff development process of the School.
