An Order-Taker is responsible for servicing room service operations to deliver an excellent Guest and Team Member experience while optimizing sales and controlling costs.

What will I be doing?

Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

1. Ensure compliance with brand standards
2. Answer all telephone calls and prioritize said calls
3. Maintain very good telephone etiquette
4. Directly involved in the order taking and order placing process while dealing with guest requests and orders, courteously, efficiently, and promptly
5. Have good knowledge of room service menus and ongoing promotions in other F&B outlets
6. Be knowledgeable of all services, facilities, and products offered by the hotel
7. Communicate with the kitchen regarding menu questions, wait times, recook orders, and product availability
8. Ensure proper appearance and grooming while on duty
