We are recruiting a Service Advisor for our client, based out of their Sharjah office.

Key Responsibilities:

The role holder is responsible to be the ambassador for the Service Department, rendering quality service by facilitating the function of the Service Centre to ensure a high level of Customer Satisfaction.

  • Meets and greets customers according to company standards.
  • Effectively receives customers, fully observing all aspects, from vehicle receiving until vehicle delivery.
  • Secures needed vehicle information and documents from customers.
  • Verifies the vehicle and customer details and/or updates on the system, especially for the vehicles coming for the first time.
  • Prepares all the necessary documentation as per standards.
  • Discusses and gets the consent of the customer for the needed repair/service including the charges and the expected work completion.
  • Checks the vehicle for any damages and mentions all scratches, dents, etc. on the booking in sheet/job card before accepting it. Ensures customers' belongings and all valuable items (incl. Nav. DVD, sunglasses, cash, jewelry, etc.) are removed and handed over to the customer.
  • Opens job cards as per service requirements plus additional requested work by the customer, plus work identified during service reception at car with the customers’ approval.
  • Follows up on the work progress, and in case additional jobs arise, consults the customer and gets their approval before proceeding with the job. Keeps the customer updated/informed for any changes/delays or variations from the initial agreement.
  • Once the work is completed, verifies that all the customer requests were done, and records were completed. If so, informs the customer and sets for the delivery appointment.
  • Updates/records all the necessary information in the system.
  • Explains clearly the charges and all the work carried out during vehicle delivery.
  • Follows up with a call, as the basis of building a long-term relationship with customers.
  • Maintains a high level of quality interaction with customers at each step of the role.
  • Ensures 5S Implementation.
  • Maintains harmonious relationships among staff and strives to work towards the attainment of the department's objectives.
  • Reports to/consults the immediate supervisor for any untoward incident or problem that further needs a managerial decision.

In addition to the below mentioned, other tasks may be assigned by the Management from time to time.

Skills

  • 2 to 5 years in a related field/role.
  • Knowledge of current and best stock inventory systems.
  • Proven ability to work independently and with others.
  • Able to manage complex human relationships and be culturally sensitive.
  • Professional certification (preferred).
  • English – Fluent (required), Arabic (preferred).
  • Technical Diploma or equivalent vocational training or strong equivalent experience.
