Who we are:

Our busy Optometry offices are looking for an individual to fill our full-time position. We are looking for a flexible team-player who loves to learn. We are an energetic office full of friendly staff who are looking to add to our team dynamic. The available position is Monday-Friday with the possibility of some early evening shifts ending at 6:00 PM. Experience is an asset, but not necessary. Starting wage will vary depending on previous experience.

The ideal candidate would possess the following skills:

1. Experience working in an Optometry or Medical office (we are willing to train the right candidate!)
2. Experience with iFile software is an asset
3. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a positive and friendly attitude
4. Ability to work well in a team environment
5. Strong attention to detail
6. Ability to multitask effectively
7. Excellent computer skills and familiarity with programs such as Word, Excel, etc.
8. Effective communication with team, patients, and doctors
9. Ability to prioritize tasks accordingly
10. Experience with booking patients, processing payments, and pretesting is an asset

Job Description:

1. Performing tests on patients
2. Checking patients in and out
3. Communicating with patients through phone and email
4. Recalling patients
5. Billing to private insurance plans
6. Opening and closing the office

Benefits are provided after a 3-month probationary period.
